Notice little holes in your carpet or furniture? This may be a result of carpet beetle Larvae. Yes, almost everyone keep on their porch lights in case someone wants to barge in the comforts of your home and rob you blind. Or you keep on those lights for your late night package arrival from Amazon. Either way bugs love these lights. And yes carpet beetles are among these insects.
Adult Carpet Beetles, moths and much more are attracted to your lights. And more likely barge in your house as soon as you open the door. It is almost like they plan for you to eventually open said door. Once the insect enters your domain, trouble sets in within minutes. It appears every time you open your doors bugs just swarm in by groups. Anyway I digress, these insects might be carpet beetles. Once they enter your home they are scouting places to lay their babies.
In most cases this is in your carpet or any furniture they deem is worthy for their young. You don’t catch these eggs in time they’re hatching and eating through your belongings until they become full fledge adults. At that moment they aren’t interested in your carped, instead they will eat pollen. And will probably decide to lay eggs to repeat the cycle.
