Anyway, to drop some knowledge on your brain, our first interesting fact is that rats’ whiskers are like very sensitive fingers. They can avoid dangers by detecting air currents with their whiskers.
Next time you want to smack a rodent upside the head with that old broom in your broom closet, well, think again. They will sense this threat and run away, then haunt you in your dreams. Their whiskers are so sensitive, they can explore and navigate through the darkness. Pretty cool once you think about it. Rats can also gauge the size of openings with their whiskers.
I suppose if you want to disable a rat, you could whip out a pair of scissors and cut their whiskers, Good job Edward scissor hands. I suppose if you can catch them and make them sit still so you can cut them… Maybe it will be easier to leave it to the pros to get rid of them. They’re very cunning creatures after-all.
